Led a major RFP process for The HSUS to make a significant technology investment that fundamentally overhauled its capacity to engage its members and raise significantly more money online.

Scope of work involved:

  • Surveying all internal stakeholders in seven departments to determine the project requirements for the RFP
  • Writing the 30-page RFP document; researching the field of vendors
  • Responding to all vendors who answered the RFP
  • Interviewing the vendors, assessing qualifications, narrowing the field from 15 to three
  • Creating the tools by which the organization chose the final vendor
  • Organizing the sessions at which the vendors presented their solutions
  • Working with the team to select the successful candidate
  • Overseeing the implementation of the work until the organization had the staffing in place to run the process
